The PRACE Scientific Conference 2013, organized by the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) takes place on Sunday, 16 June, in Leipzig, Germany at the Congress Center Leipzig, Hall 4.

The PRACE ISC award winning project, “Multi trillion particles simulation on SuperMUC”, will be presented by Wolfgang Eckhardt of TU München (Germany). Nine top European scientists will be presenting their results and advances in large scale simulations obtained with support of PRACE. Konstantinos Glinos, head of the European Commission e-Infrastructure unit, will outline the European HPC Strategy implementation. PRACE´s strategy for a sustainable and persistent infrastructure 2015-2020 will be presented by Dr. Sergi Girona, Chair of the PRACE Board of Directors. The seminar will be chaired by Professor Kenneth Ruud, the president of the Norwegian Chemical Society and Chairman of the Scientific Steering Committee of the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE).

PRACE with ISC (International Supercomputing Conference) again are adding value for ISC’13 attendees. The PRACE Scientific Conference is an excellent opportunity to learn from and discuss with the scientists, who have first-hand knowledge of the use of PRACE systems. The Conference will also provide information about services and opportunities to participate in future PRACE supported projects.
